Student Sponsorship Prospectus

Arts North Studio, in partnership with Sunderland College, delivers a high-quality BTEC in Musical Theatre. Our students receive ten hours of government-funded tuition weekly as part of their BTEC programme. To achieve the level of industry readiness and performance skill required for professional careers, students need additional training hours delivered within our studio. While some families can afford this top-up tuition, many from lower-income households cannot.

We seek funding partners to support talented students who would otherwise miss out on essential training. This prospectus outlines the benefits of partnering with Arts North Studio to create scholarships, or contribute to hardship funds that transform young lives while strengthening the local creative economy.

Why This Matters

Sunderland and the wider North East has a wealth of young performing talent but also high levels of financial hardship. Without intervention, many gifted students will not be able to access the full training they need to compete for places at leading drama schools, universities, or professional companies. Funding targeted at these students directly addresses this gap and ensures our region’s cultural future is strong and diverse.

How Sponsorship Works

We operate a simple and transparent funding model:

  1. Sponsors commit to a set number of scholarship places or a set annual contribution.
  2. Arts North Studio identifies eligible students based on household income and audition merit.
  3. Funding is allocated directly to the student’s training fees, offsetting their family’s requirement to pay (not cash in hand).
  4. Sponsors receive impact reports, public recognition, inclusion in Arts North Studio’s events and more.

Sponsorship Packages

We offer flexible partnership levels as follows:

Gold Partner – £5,000+VAT per year

  • Funds one full student scholarship or two student part-scholarships.
  • Sponsor logo on marketing materials including website and event programmes.
  • Sponsor logo displayed within the studio complex.
  • Collaborative social media post, recognising the partnership.
  • One Arts North Studios ‘Flash Mob Performance’ at your corporate event.
  • Annual impact report, updating you on student progress.
  • Four complimentary tickets and *hospitality package for Arts North Studio’s:
      • Arts North Studios – Christmas Production
      • Annual Seniors Production
      • Annual Juniors Production
      • End of Year Seniors Showcase

      * Includes complimentary drinks and snacks for your party before each performance.

Silver Partner – £2,500+ VAT per year

  • Funds one student part-scholarship.
  • Sponsor logo on marketing materials including website and event programmes.
  • Sponsor logo displayed within the studio complex.
  • Collaborative social media post, recognising the partnership.
  • Annual impact report, updating you on student progress.
  • Two complimentary tickets for Arts North Studio’s major productions.

Bronze Partner – £1,000+VAT per year

  • Contributes to a shared scholarship.
  • Recognition on Arts North Studios Website.
  • Annual impact report, updating you on student progress.
  • Two complimentary tickets to Arts North Studio’s end of year presentation.

Bespoke Partner:

  • We can also create bespoke packages tailored to your business objectives and CSR goals.
