Based in Sunderland’s Culture Quarter inside the iconic Fire Station complex, Arts North Studios offers professional training in dance, musical theatre and screen performance at the heart of a live music and arts campus. Students don’t just rehearse – they perform, collaborate, and grow in a creative environment bursting with live music and performance, hospitality and artistic energy.

As Sunderland prepares to welcome Crown Works Studios, Arts North Studios is uniquely placed to equip the next generation for careers not only in the West End – but on global screens.

Arts North Academy

Three hours of intensive Musical Theatre training in Voice, Acting for Stage and Screen, and Technical Dance. During our Academy training throughout the year we focus on mindset, confidence building and nurturing our students individual talents to be and feel the best they can.

Full-time musical theatre college situated in the heart of the North East, with a specialised syllabus curated by West End professional Performers, Producers and Directors. Currently offering a 2-year BTEC for 16+ students, and a 1 Year Intensive for 18+ students.
